For example it is recommended to supplement with fish oil during pregnancy and for the first 6 months of breast feeding, while the babies eyes ad brain are developing.

Supplementing with glycans is thought to help the new mother feel less tired because her body does not have to make them from her own limited resource of nutrients. The best source of glycans is found in mannatech's Ambrotose complex.

This includes the plant sugars found in aloe Vera, wakame seaweed, tree saps and medicinal mushrooms to name a few. All essential to the immune system and would have been found daily in our hunter gatherer diet.
